This cam was out for 6 days and had 128 of 131 possible photo's taken. Many were of the same deer, but there were probably 30-35 different deer. Most were just small bucks and lots of does. This was the only shooter to come out on the digital trail cam. He may not be a shooter in some guys books, but anything 125 up is a shooter in mine. Rod

Thanks,
I would love to get his big brother. Last year on the same farm during the last days of muzzleloader season I had the chance to see the largest buck of my life on hoof. Easily a b&c buck with a larger spread, great mass and just wonderful thick long tines. I had already gotten my buck and he walked with 6 does at dusk. If this deer past my stand from Oct. 1-Oct 21 he is safe. After that all bets are off.
I really like the trail cams. This is one of the lower end photo's. The worst where photo's in the rain and night combo. The day photo's are perfect.

If you would pass this buck up, I need to hunt where you are. I just don't see a lot of deer this big or larger. Maybe one or two per season.

I'd say this deer is an older deer, maybe going downhill. I noticed his chest is deep, grey around the eyes, long nose. Definately a older deer 6 or 7 years old, his rack is most likely on the decline. At first I though maybe he was a younger deer and was going to suggest letting him grow up another year, but after I studied the picture I realized he looks to be an older deer declining in developement, it's amazing what a deers rack can do in a year, from 2 to 3years or 3 to 4years. I'd probably pass on him, unless I just wanted to cull him from a herd of deer on my hunting land. I only say that becuase of the area I hunt and the quality of deer, each person has to make that decision on their own based on the quality of deer they have available on their hunting property etc...It really depends on your hunting circumstances, I've seen places over the years I've hunted where I'd of been happy to shoot this guy and he's a reespectable buck, but probably a better deer a few years ago, IMO....
