If you ever have a farmer leave some standing corn, keep the sections limited in size to where deer cannot hide in them. Maybe long rows that are a few rows deep.

I have left a few rows stand before. Not so much for the deer, but to give me cover entering and leaving the stand.

Here in North Hamilton county beans are turning brown and gold. Beck's is bringing in the seed corn. No beans harvested yet. My beans planted 6/4/16 are looking great. Full and tall. After we harvest in goes the cover crop (deer food).

What a difference a day makes. Beans are being harvested aggressively. Fields are flat and clear all around me. Probably 30% in 24 hours. I expect they wanted to get ahead of the rain we had today. Some farmers had a late night last night. It is so noticeable how the land here looks after months of corn and beans and then they are gone. Hopefully the deer get motivated to start moving in the day time.

The deer are moving this evening. Saw 2 young bucks and 4 does. It was lightning so I watched from the window.
