I seem to have way to many of them at the place I'm hunting here in Tippecanoe Cty. If anyone knows any serious coyote hunters that might be able to help me out let me know. I hunt them some but you're too far away for me.

Actually saw a coyote take out a rabbit and then trot thru the corn field tonight. Couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was doing until it trotted off the field with it in its mouth. This coyote crossed the field three times with a very large doe in the field as well. She was alert but never really seemed to care. Just watched it and went on. That coyote hopefully be hanging in the garage come Dec.

I've killed 2 coyotes while hunting in the last couple years and will gladly end a hunt to do it again.
I checked cameras 3 weeks ago...had a pic of a coyote doing his business right in front of the camera almost as if to say "Here's what I think of you!" I hope he comes back by that stand while I'm in it this season...they are thick here in eastern Bartholomew County.

Four years ago, I dropped a coyote in her tracks and 1/2 hour later a nice 8pt buck came from the same area. Of course, I dropped the buck. It was one of my best hunts.

Checked my camera's in perry county, had a coyote passing on camera just about every night around 2am, might have a den in the area. Deer are still on camera.

I believe there's a coyote hunt with prizes in Orange County not this coming weekend, but next weekend. Just curious what top prize is on this one. Buddy of mine just sent me the results from the mosquito creek hunt in Pennsylvania. Top prize this year was taken by 15 year old kid. Took both for heaviest dog and heaviest female and one other. Total he won was right at $16,000. Female weighed right at 47 pounds.

I usually drag mine out of the area, depends on where I'm hunting. Coyotes will clean up the carcass.

I've never seen one while I was hunting. At least in my part of Knox county there aren't that many coyotes as I can hear. I know there aren't that many around my house, as for the lake I don't get out much to do any type of hunting as my 2 girls, for the near term dictate when and where I can go.
There will always be some sort of vacuum filled whenever you go thru and take out some coyotes, there will be others come in and take their place. I really don't think that you can totally get rid of them from your area, just controlling them is probably the best case scenario.
