Anyone else seeing scrapes yet? Was out earlier this week setting a stand and saw 2 different scrapes. Getting me pumped up for season!

That is early for scrapes, I find rubs in one of my hunting spots early September but I had not checked there yet. Will go this week.

Either a confused deer or it was the doings of some other critter and not a deer.

One thing I've learned is deer will do anything anytime of year. Have no doubt he has scrapes on his property. I've seem them in the spring turkey hunting in past years Here in SW Indiana.

^^^agreed. Deer communicate through scrapes year round. Though not as common to see the scraping, it does happen.

Deer keep scrapes pretty much year round, especially the big community scrapes that are used by both bucks and does. See them really opened Up in late July/early August. Have no doubt there are scrapes on a lot of properties right now.
