Tippmann Arms in Ft Wayne is making a repro of the Remington Rolling Block. I have seen 44 Mag and 45-70 govt versions and they don't look bad. I would think at 7 pounds the 47-70 would thump you pretty good. A full octagon barrel might be a better choice if available. The 44 mag is 1-20 twist so it should handle heavy bullets. I would think it would be great in 444 marlin or use a 357 max reamer on that model. Nice; rechamber the 357 to 357MAX and that would be very cool I was thinking the 44 Mag to 444 Marlin. Or .357 to 38-55 or 35 Remington.
