Evil men desire two things, money and power. He has the money now from being on corporate boards, but lacks the notoriety and power from being in the Senate.

WE don't need any more Evan or any Bayh - please go away. Do tell why ? Bought the most public land of any Governor we've ever had & balanced the budget , I usually vote for the person that gets the job done & I don't care which party they come from .

I thought he was decent as governor but when he began having aspirations to run for president he kissed the liberal agenda and backed away from his own beliefs or so it seemed.
what land did he purchase? I thought Danies got Goose Pond and set up the Healthy River's initiative for wabash and muscatituck rivers properties.

My understanding is that Baron Hill is stepping aside so Bayh will have a chance to win and thus help tip the balance of the Senate back over to the Democrats.

Not trying to start a debate, he helped with the purchases & donations of , chinook, blue grass, Kankakee ,sugar ridge , splinters ridge & although gone now Minnehaha along with many public boat ramps .

Watched a late night vote on C-Span years ago, Bayh kept watching the vote, went to the chair several times to make sure the count and with only about a minute or so before the closing voted with the Republicans even though the DumbocRATS were in the majority. Then went on to expound in all his glory how he had voted against the bill. He is not to be trusted, just like his father.

Poor Baron Hill. Guy has been out campaigning and fundraising when all of a sudden, a carpetbagger from DC decides to run in Indiana and reclaim 'his' Senate seat. You just have to love cowards like Bayh who believe they're too good for a primary election and cut to the head of the line just at the last moment. I expect Baron Hill is growing a burning resentment for the Indiana Democratic Party bosses for how they've pushed him out of the race after the Democratic voters chose him to be the nominee.
