My boy and I fished a private pond Monday. It is owned by a member on here, but I wont mention his name without permission. We were fishing for anything that bites, mostly bluegills and perch, just wanting to have a good time. He hooked into a nice one, and after a couple minute fight, he reels this in. Wow! His biggest fish so far at 5yo. Yay Luke! 16#2oz. 31" long

He is having as much fun showing off the pics to everybody as catching this one. Lol. He is already talking about catching one of the bigger ones known to be in there. With his luck, he may have a chance! Thanks for all the likes and comments fellas.

Drag his smiling butt back and have him catch all that he can. I want them out of the pond! Bring a tent before he starts school and I'll furnish the trot lines. You can run them as often as you want to during the night. I'll bet there is one in there that is double that size. It's good to see him have fun. Now just to get him to bait his own hook and take off the smaller fish.
