Had a quick round of storms go thru at 3pm est on Monday in LaPorte and St Joe counties. Our power got knocked out AGAIN. Running on generator now, and just found out expected repair to restore power on Thursday at 3pm. Typically they beat the estimate but not always. Now calling for another chance of nasty stuff Wed. Great.

Sounds like you need to hold down the fort for a couple days. Good luck.

Lost a lot of branches the electric flickered but didn't go out. Only rained for about 20 minutes and got 2 inches in that time. We had water standing everywhere.

We only got .6" rain in Rolling Prairie, news said 1.1" at SB Airport.
Bullseye69's folks live by Heston, and their neighbor lost a barn. Saw an electric panel for irrigation twisted around a power pole at west StJoe county line. Guy at work had tree down, siding and soffits riped off his house in SB. Either low grade tornado or microburst. Way more than news is reporting.

Just got alert, power is back on at home. Yay! I work 2nd shift so not able to see it first hand. Wife goes to her mothers in evenings, so I sent her back home to switch power from generator back to grid.

Had a tree blow down in Switzerland county and kill a 11 yr old camper , so sad !! That was a tragic accident. The news said lightening struck the tree. Both of my kids have stayed at that camp. It's a nice place. I hope this doesn't cause them to shut down.

Wednesday night storms came and went. Got 1.4" rain, no damage, and kept power this time. Win win all the way around. Hope everybody else pulled thru OK.

1" here, hardly any wind. 3/4" in Knox, no wind either. Buddy in Russiaville didn't have much wind, but just a little bit away they got hammered. Power is supposed to be out until Sunday. A veal ranch there lost a bunch of his "huts" for the little ones. One hut was found 1.5 miles away.
He has a fish hatchery, and the wind picked up 6 cages of fish from one pond, rolled them up and over the dam into another pond that he just cleaned out and killed with Rotenone. Now the brood fish that were in the cages are in the pond. Too bad it is multiple species, now he has to seine the pond again and re-kill it.
