I hunt with it using a 150 gr SP round, this gives enough recoil to split your nose open from the charging handle if shouldered. So I can't shoulder it & keep my nose. UMM why is your charging handle moving when you fire or are you refering to the gun moving enough to hit your nose? The charging handle doesn't move the whole pistol moves to the rear because it is not against my shoulder, just held in place with only a cheek weld. Shouldering this pistol makes your face too close to the charging handle & scope. I hunted with the Hornady 110gr whisper but found it doesn't have much stopping power. So I reload my own .300 blackout hunting rounds & found the 150gr is the heaviest round I can use, also best accuracy.
