Do you support having deer and turkey calls on phones in possession of hunters?
Idea for the DNR Fish and Wildlife

Electronic calls for deer and turkey hunting 13. Allow electronic calls for deer and wild turkey to be possessed, but not used, while out in the field hunting. Background: This change is needed due to calls now being on cell phones as ring tones or with other apps.

Remove the apps before going in the field. Opens the door to abuse.

I have a smart phone so all I need to do is ask it for wild turkey calls,no app needed.

I have a turkey gobbling with a shotgun blast after it for a ring tone. Anyone can pull up a site for a call. Don't need apps. Just dumb.

Curious how anyone could know if you had an app or other sounds on your phone? Its not something that can be searched without permission or a warrant I don't think...

Unless you are caught using a call on your phone to hunt there is no issue. I don't recall a law prohibiting you from having that call on your phone.

I have an app on my phone from Altus.. has over 680 calls.. honest all of the deer suck out of a phone speaker and most of the turkey do also, in fact not sure the volume is loud enough to be heard much past 50 yards..
I personally don't care if you don't use it while hunting..
