Many people in this state are too stupid to set fireworks off safely....I shudder to think of the moronic things people must be doing (or will do) with this stuff.

Tanerite will gain in popularity with the surge in HPR sales to test long range Shots

Many people in this state are too stupid to set fireworks off safely....I shudder to think of the moronic things people must be doing (or will do) with this stuff. In my opinion fireworks are much more dangerous than tannerite. I used to set off a decent amount of fireworks at Williamstown Lake in KY. I started to get the bigger mortars and they scared me. Now I just buy snakes and sparklers for the kids.

I think the article said it ignites when impacted by a bullet traveling at least 3,000 FPS, thats not true. My guess is 2,200 will set it off. 2000fps is what it takes unless you have the smaller rim fire ones then its 1000fps. Those little rimfire ones make me giggle

Any explosive is only as safe as the person using it, to deny all over the stupidity of a few is short sighted and just plain wrong.

Had a customer a couple of weeks ago ask me if I ever messed with it. Told him no. Asked me if I had time. Told him I'd make time. We set off two pound charge. The first thing I said to him after it went off was, how is this stuff legal. That stuff is a blast, all puns intended.

Works pretty good on problem beaver dams I have heard. Absolutely it does, I only work in increments of a half pound and we stand back at least 50 yards with the 1/2 pound charge. It works rather nicely to give the beaver den a skylight to bring in the natural light instead of the dark dreary interior that they prefer.
As always gentlemen use your head if you will be using it.
