So I'm sitting here listening to turkeys gobble and admiring the vegetation and I realize how silly it is to hear people from Indiana say we don't need rifles because we have 100 yard legal guns. I'm 30-50 yards from these birds and haven't seen a feather. Yes, all rifles are legal here.

I was in Alabama last weekend. Same there, all centerfire rifles are legal.

Headed to Bama after school Friday to the hunting club for turkey season. Heck they have a spear and air rifle season down there.

That's the whole point, you need a High Powered Rifle to shoot through all that green stuff!

On another note. I shot a suppressed 300 blackout tonight and that gun is more fun than anything I have ever shot.

I must be a nonconformist. I just keep adding to my shotguns. Got all the rifles I need (to be distinguished from want) and none are legal..... No one, at least no one with a thinking mind, said life is fair. Guess I need to hunt out of state. Have a hunt scheduled with Snipe's Creek near Murray, KY this November. Still thinking about taking a shot gun. Probably won't but it is in my thought process. If I take a 12 gauge, my .260 Rem and .270 Weatherby magnum will travel too. I love hard, but no lose decisions.
