My wife's Mom passed away early this morning. Wow, what a Godly woman. Full of Love. Full of Faith. Here's a song that is one of my best memories of her: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGB1fyALDPQOh, I'm sure she's dancing with Jesus right now. As a worship leader, you see things in a service that not all people see. Some 30+ years as I was leading, I was picking the guitar and switching between melody and harmony, thinking the sound of our music was surely reaching heaven as we sang this song "Open our eyes Lord, we want to see Jesus..." And in the midst of our singing, my wife's mom, with her Dutch accent and all could be heard above most of us and I got a little miffed that now it didn't sound as good. And then I opened my eyes and looked at her. I could never adequately describe her face. She glowed like an angel. She was in a different realm. And then I broke down. I was singing that song. Meanwhile, she was living that song. It's like she was literally with Jesus. I'll never forget that moment and it's a beautiful moment forever in my memory. My wife and I sit here this evening crying and laughing...but mostly rejoicing that her Mom is right were she always wanted to be. With Jesus!

Prayers for peace and comfort for your family and the friends.
Isn't it amazing that some people just have that Christian glow about them? You look at them and just say "OH My!" Sounds like she let her light shine! We are all better off just knowing these folks....
RIP for momma...

May she rest in peace and shall all the mourners find comfort in knowing she has gone on to be with the lord

Praise God for that great promise of hope of an eternal life of peace and joy full of worship, praise, and rest with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will pray that the Comforter wraps his arms around you with the knowledge of where your loved one's spirit is at this time and the knowledge of a grand Homecoming one day.

Wonderful memories Larry; thanks for sharing this with us.
Yes indeed, she is home now. As Woody eludes, we are just passing though this world in our human experience.
God uses the memories of these to continue his work. Sometimes he does more from the passing of a child of his than he did in their life. This is a hope we can all share.
For some odd reason, I've been thinking about my pappy this week. Memories of him have helped me for decades.
Blessings of peace to you and your family.
