Great news! I've just gotten access to hunt in the Greenfield area. Glad to hear that poachers are being taken out! (And anywhere else, for that matter).

Those migratory birds are what he will probably get in the most trouble for right?

Depends on what type of bird and how many I assume. Also it said something about raptor parts, curious to know which type of raptor it was. Either way him getting caught is a bonus.

I think this would be a Federal gun violation if he has bought a firearm recently.

Attaboys! Ted and Scott both are some of the good ones! Sounds like Indiana has much better C.O.'s than Kentucky. Here, when one reports an illegal Deer kill, it is never followed-up and they never return your reporting call. My Brother called-in about possible poaching going on near our property, and the person he talked to HUNG-UP on him. We're thinking about reporting this discourteous behavior to our newly elected Governor.

Scott does not play around. You mess up here and he will get you !! same for Ted. He was a year behind me in school and college. The guy is 100% professional and serious about his job! Both him and Scott have been very helpful in dealing with my tresspassing and vandalism issues. Kudos to both. They are MILES above what we had before around here!

The day that I left one guy shot a turkey with a rifle. Bragged about it on the internet. I called Tenn DNR. They said that if I didn't personally witness it they couldn't do anything about it.

That rude guy that hung-up on my Brother, told my Brother we'd have to witness the act of poaching, before they would do anything??? My Brother told this guy: He was afraid he might get shot and was he suppose to carry a weapon when investigating??? this is when the guy hug-up on my Brother. On our Telecheck there is one Hunter listed, that took six Deer with a rifle & we're only allowed to take two with a rifle, in our County & two more "Bonus" antlerless Deer with archery equipment only.

I just wish the judges were more serious about these types of violations. Honestly I wish there was some sort of regional "Outdoor Court", kinda like Traffic Court or Family Court, where they only deal with environmental type violations. I know it would make things way easier on the C.O.'s because they wouldn't have to follow different sets of "rules" to make the different county prosecutors happy.
