The cva buckhorn with 777 pellets and maxiballs dropped it like a sack of cannon balls after seeing two other deer on my way in and them walking off to avoid me I thought I might be done for the day not even 20 minutes later here two more come from another direction.

They do fill a freezer faster. If you have not done it before, run your steaks through a "cuber". I started several years ago with an old buck and have done it with steaks and backstraps of every deer that I take to the locker.

Nice shot on that big doe. I think they can be about as tough to kill as a big buck.

Congrats. I agree with scrub. Maybe even tougher because they don't go silly when love is in the air. Always on their toes.

Did you get a weight on her? No but I did get 50# of meat would've got more but lost out on most of the neck. I'm figuring she was about 150# on the hoof?? Plus I was at my brother in laws with his knives and setup if I had been home I probably wouldve yielded more.

Keep hunting Fountain Co, 150# is small for out there.. Well I want actual small like 80# on the hoof toss over my shoulder and i am ready to rock and roll plenty of those also.. this year I took a 160# , 137#, 87# .. and my buddy took a 157# .. nice thing about Fountain Co is it is still an 8 for antlerless, so you really don't have to be picky.. find thick cover woods & it will be full of young does..
