Very interesting i never thought for one minute deer were being taken with normal pistols. if it is a normal pistol, looks lke it to me. ? regards Billy Yep, for the most part I would consider my Vaquero normal. The exception with my gun is that it's considered the large frame model. It is the original model mfr'd in 1993 and can handle the hotter loads. Ironically, I've gone the other direction shooting lighter cowboy action loads. My model is blued with case hardening, walnut grips, and a 4-5/8" barrel. If you could ever make it happen, I'd love for you to come across the the big pond and do a hunt. You'd be more than welcome to use my wheel gun provided all the details worked out!

What is c.o.l. high cotton guide? COL can also be noted as COAL and stands for cartridge overall length.

Dropped three does today but i used the tikka 308 but the closest was as you say over there a fifty yard chip shot, lol straight barrels my friend Billy
