My daughter passed her Hunter Ed course and wants to hunt this year. She is fidgety and I think this is the best way for us to see deer and them to not see us. Due to the physical limitations and physical therapy from the motorcycle wreck, I was not able to start construction on blinds as early as I would have liked. But finally got two of them completed Sunday evening. Was too late to take pics of the finished product with the plexiglass windows in place, but here is a pic. Built two of them. I had sacrificed what time I would have been bowhunting to construction. Now I get to hunt Veteran's Day!

Very nice. I love blinds like that. There warm and safe. Please give details on the building of them. 4x4 post legs, 2x4 framed floor that is 6' off the ground at the lowest point (which is where the ladders are), 4'x8' box is 2x2 framed, back is 7' tall and front is 6'. OSB floors covered with carpet. Reclaimed tin all over except for the 11" windows that are 360 degrees (but the one one the door does not hinge open). Sealed up joints with expanding foam so that it is fairly air-tight when the plexiglass windows are shut. I have about 24 hours total building in the woods. Everything was cut at home and transported to site to build. Took longer than I had expected! I was VERY lucky that the tin was gifted to me, so I have approximately $380 in TWO blinds. All put together with screws so that I will be able to disassemble if the landowner passes away or something and I am no longer allowed to hunt there.

Nice big blind What are the kitchen facilities like lol 4'x8', my wife already hunts with me so I had to make it with room for 3!! But if it is muzzleloader season and I am hunting alone, there is plenty of space for a nap if one is needed.

This is mine. All screwed together I take it all apart except for the 2x6 around bottom. I can then back my truck up and load and unload by myself. Less than a 100 in it. I have old door rug from school in bottom and an old office chair inside that rolls and swivels I got 4 free.

Lot more luxurious than mine, i have to wire each corner to a stake driven into the ground, and if its a wooden ladder i have to snake a lengh of wire across every rung and staple them in. All for safety. Good job. Billy

Having a blind like that really opens up hunting opportunities on poor weather days. We always see more deer on the poor weather days when there aren't as many hunters in the woods pressuring them.

Sorry, not ADA compliant. Still waiting on the Federal grant for that upgrade.

With the expected rain coming for the next several days, that will be worth 10 times the amount of work and money that's invested in it now.

Those are nice. Gives me some ideas, but I don't trust my building skills.
