Okay guys and gals. I have something to confess. Late last year I put in a wood burning furnace. I was buying wood and scrambling for it all winter. Started around late spring collecting firewood and I put up about 10 cords by mid summer. I knew it would happen and thought I'd be the only one effected by it but looks like you deer hunters are suffering too. I knew if I got on the ball and got all my wood put up early it would be a warm year and wouldn't have to use it. It's all my fault and I apologize. Now you would think that would be all I'd have to be sorry for but there is more. When we had that little but of cold snap a couple of weeks back I went ahead and weather proofed the barn and took care of insulating the rabbits and dog boxes. Two days after that is when we got the warm up. If there is anything I can do to make up for it let me know...just not this weekend. I have to clean the gutters out and get in the attic and close the vents off. Also have to get the hay racks put up and filled for the animals. Might need to bring a couple extra ricks in and stack in the garage.

Lol... I knew somebody had to have jumped the gun.. it's about like rain. It only rains when you just finish washing your car/truck.. But it's not like I saw anything before that anyways so all is good here!

It's to warm to deer hunt, and I have several ricks of wood that's not sold because no one is burning. Lol

So I can blame you for the 62 degree weather when I got in the stand this morning. Thanks.

We'll have a potent El Nino this year, the projection for our region is an average winter, so I don't hold you responsible.

I'm glad somebody else took credit for it this year. :-)
