I've never dressed one out in a gravel driveway? No bigger than that deer is, you sure don't need those shears either, a sharp knife will go right through the sternum.

I can see all of us trying this eventually and telling our friends, "Watch this! I saw it in a video once". While we proceed to make a terrible mess out of a pretty simple task. Standing there covered in blood holding half an esophagus and saying "Welp! That was nothing like the video I watched".

I don't have the convenience of dressing my deer on a gravel pad with a leg tied to a fence. I sure as h*ll am not going to take a pair of loppers into the woods.
I typically position my kill with the head directed uphill and one leg tied to a sapling. I carry a saw that easily splits the sternum and pelvis. I wear nitrile gloves and carry a ziplock bag with several baby wipes in it. I seldom get a drop of blood on my hands or clothing, but always manage to get some on my boots. From start to finish, I get it done in a few minutes.

Must have been a head or neck shot. Not messy enough for a boiler room kill.

Gets it and you up off the ground and easier to dump guts. www.sportlantis.com/hunting/kolpin-atv-tilt-n-tote-game-loader/
