I vote Summit too. Not sure if mine is an SS, or SD, or what, but it is comfortable.
Worst is my assortment of Wal-Mart ladder stands, steel seat (I always forget a cushion).

A double stand when I hunt it by myself. We also used to have a few permanent stands when I was younger that were made to be extra large for my grandpa to hunt and they were so big, I could lay down on the platform and snooze.

I can sleep in about any stand you put me in for a short time. Two mans are the best napping stands cause there's never a shortage of room for me to get comfy. I have a Rivers Edge two-man and a single man, a Remington Two-man, and a summit Razor climber that gets pretty comfy as well!

When I was a teenager, I was at my girlfriend's house. Her dad told her mom to wake him up in 5 minutes. He was in a Lazyboy. Sure enough, that man quickly went to sleep and she woke him up in 5 minutes. I had never seen anything like it.
Now, I could nap on top of a fence post.

iv just looked these things up on google and come on your having a laugh with me, are you telling me your going up trees with these things and falling asleep? i would like to have a go at your type of hunting but no way am i going up a tree to sleep or stand on a tiny platform for a deer, i will take my chances on the ground. Eventually, i will come across a blind, deaf deer with a head cold so as it cannot smell me,then i will score, hehe I have already had the bow out practising for it, lol our health and safety executive will have a heart attack if he seen me up a tree, lol regards Billy

Of all the ones I have used, the Summit 180 that I had was the most comfy. I have since sold that one and now have the Viper Elite which has a sling type mesh seat. I have not had a chance to sit in it for any length of time but I just cannot imagine me falling asleep in this one.

If adjusted correctly the harness will even give your back support while sleeping (so I have been told) smirk smirk

Sako there are two kinds of good sleep. Tree stands aren't bad and I've slept in my share. The best sleep you will ever get though is in the woods turkey hunting about 10 o' clock when the sun starts beating down on you on a nice spring morning. Nice bed of leaves and you'll be waking yourself up snoring. The fun of sleeping in a tree stand is when you shift slightly in the stand when you are in a dead sleep and you get that sensation that you are coming out of the stand. Nothing will wake you up quicker. I challenge anyone to not fall asleep in a stand on one of those fall days when it is just warm enough to not be uncomfortable and the wind is blowing just enough to sway the tree. Impossible. Of course it's always fun when you get that little gust that snaps the rhythm and again you swear your coming out. Of course all this is dependant on being comfortable in a stand. You're afraid you're not falling asleep.

I've some up once to a buck grunting. Jumped up and grabbed my bow. Looked forever to find the buck. Realized it was me snoring. That was back during the heyday of big oaks when it was still military and big bucks were behind every tree. We were in area 2. During the peak of the rut. No idea in the world why I was sleeping.

I don't feel safe enough to sleep in stand, even with my harness. But I do tend to snooze off midday in a blind with a comfy chair.

I must agree with dbd870 the TREE LOUNGE is by far the most comfortable tree stand ever made.

I've a number of ladder stands and climbers, and only the ones with sling type seats and a bar across the front to keep me in are the only comfortable ones.
A good sleep? Get me out on the ocean in a boat with a bed.

Got to be nuts standing on a shelf strapped to a tree God knows how high up being blown about by a Gale. Nine feet is about as high as we can make a seat over here, any higher it comes under building regulations . And it's high enough for me, lol No tree climbers that I know of over here, we generally use seats leaning on the tree. Ninety nine per cent of my deer are shot from ground level, just as well as I don't like heights without an engine. Lol Regards Billy.
