Never been to Big Oaks. Going to area 34 on Nov 1 and area 75 on Nov 2. Anyone here have any advice for these area? You can PM me if you would like. Looks like 75 has one of the best success rates and 34 is about half of that.

Area 75 seems to be one of the hot spots in that place. You must have been the lucky one to have your call answered right at 8am!!!! It is very narrow and has a small creek that runs thru the north side of it going east to west, doesn't look to have much elevation change to it.
34 is right in the middle and has some elevation change but not much, the south side right along the H road isn't very thick at all, but I believe they may have burned that within the past couple year so it may have a lot of ground cover.

My dad did the calling and thought he might have been first. Took him 45 minutes yesterday when we got 34.

75 is always first to go. You win the lottery there! Only 80 acres but only 2 hunters allowed in there.

I also got 75! Will be there Nov 7&8. On Oct 24th I am hunting 61. Got really lucky this year, I got through when calling within the first minute and got my first two choices...past two years it has taken me 20+ minutes to get through. 75 and 61 are the top two spots statistically over the past 12 years years so really hoping for some action on my hunts.

I bought all the stuff I needed for my muzzle loader today for the primitive hunt Oct 17 & 18. I'm getting excited now. Going to Atterbury tomorrow to try it out.
They put me in zone handicap where they accidentally spill piles of corn.
