I finally finished up my stands, ground blinds, shooting lanes, entry and exit trails, etc.... I checked my cams and not liking what I see (or not seeing). I'm sure I just have them in the wrong spot. Still walked out of the woods with my head held high and my expectations even higher. I've done all I can do and now it's up to the Lord to bless me, a more than He has already, with a little good luck. Here goes nothing!

Same here. Just have to focus on shooting the next 3 weeks. It's a good feeling.

Same here. Our friend checked our stands south of Bloomington and not much sign at all. I'm sure things will change as we get into cooler temps. With the stretch of 90 degree days and limited rain...may of had an effect. Summer pattern.

This one is a more permanent issue as I had a neighbor cut a new trail out back for easier retrieval and the deer are of course using it.

I am kinda in opposite situation. Seeing deer every where and getting 300-400 picks a week on most cams. Trying to figure out which food source to hunt early. probably go with the ole reliable acorn ridge tops.

Good luck and hunt safe!

When the farmers start taking the crops out of the fields that will stir the deer up & they will start there fall travel patterns. The corn just started coming out of the fields last week around here, starting to see deer movement.

I love sitting on stand when the corn and beans are being picked!
