Well crap! Forecast this morning shows Friday night and Saturday morning thunderstorms for Cloverdale area. I will hunt in a sprinkle, but thunderstorms are out!
I will reserve my decision to attend or wave it off for Friday. Sure hope it doesn't storm; would like to meet the ones that were still planning to be there.

I'm not as bad as my dog, but I really don't like being out in the rain now that I'm old. When I was young, I'd play golf in the rain. I was playing golf when the tornado came through Greenwood years ago. Well, I was in the club house as fast as my feet would get me there. LOL

So for those who brave the weather.. Is supper Friday night gonna be bring your own, pitch-in or what?
I have some elk burgers if anyone's interested, but my camp stove took a dump. If someone else has a way to cook them, I can bring 'em in. I like some bacon on my burgers, so I can bring that too.

As long as it's not a downpour, I'll still go Saturday. Right now I think they are just saying scattered thunderstorms. Hard to tell the weather much until tomorrow I bet. What I'll do is look at the forecast early Saturday morning when I wake up and see what the radar looks like as well.

Bloomington is having a night 3D Shoot Sat evening - think JDUB & I will head over there in time to shoot that so we may not be a part of Sat dinner.

I will stay as long as I can or dare to. If we all still meet Saturday, I'd enjoy a squirrel dinner, although I'd be the odd one out only staying for the day and not camping. But, if I could join whoever is there cooking, I'd be much obliged.
I'm just looking forward to meeting some of you and learning from you all.
I may also bring my fishing pole too and check out the little fishing spot there.

I'm not thinking that I'll have my truck. I might be grounded again this weekend.

We are still coming - just might be later in the morning on Sat after the storms move out. Sat dinner just depends on what time it happens, we probably need to leave by 7:15-7:30. We will come back stay the night and go hunt Sunday morning.

I looked at the Bloomington weather. It looks like most of any storms is to the north. Most of the chances of any rain/storms appears this evening and early AM (40% according to accuweather.com). Rain clearing to partly cloudy in the afternoon.
Funny, I work in Carmel and we already got our 40% for the day. It's been raining on and off for about an hour and a half. Had a couple flashes of lightning, but no thunder heard.
I'll be going. I'll probably leave home around 6:30am or so. I may or may not stay over night Saturday.

I'm definitely not getting there tonight!!!
Hopefully I can be out of here shortly after noon Sat which would put me down there sometime around 4. Anything I can bring to pitch in for the dinner?? I'll be bringing sandwich stuff, probably some bacon & eggs for Sun AM.
See y'all tomorrow!

Had a nice long visit with Russ. I'm the only one here now.
Gonna get up early and kill a few squirrels before I have to head home.

I think I will get to come down tomorrow. I got my truck and am taking some deer meat to a disabled vet in Quincy tomorrow and then will come on down.
