There are literally thousands of Armadillos in southwest Kentucky, they are now common in the Kentucky Lake area. The Armadillos have been migrating north for several years. They are in southern Illinois also. I have seen hundreds hit along roads in western Kentucky over the years, and I have seen a few in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area (LBL) walking around some of the campgrounds at night.
