Badgers. Had one get hit on hwy41 just south of Vincennes. Looked them up and I guess they are more common in the northwest part of the state. Amazing how much stuff is out there....

I believe they are a protected species here in Indiana. I'm sure that the IDNR would have appreciated a call about the find.

Were they released to control the rattlesnakes that were released to control the coyotes that were released to control the deer that were also being fed on my the mountain lions that were released to control the bobcats?

Dude you got it all messed up. The turkey were released to fight the ticks. The mountain lions were released to fight the turkey. The rattlers were dumped wearing biodegradable baby parachutes to get the lions and the big birds escaped because they are just mean and love to kill rattlers. That was all forst hand info obtained by my old roommates brothers uncles first cousins roommate. He says dnr won't directly admit to it but he heard em chatting in the bar at Applebees. Pretty legit

I saw a live one by the side of SR-64 several years ago, I thought I was hallucinating until I slowed down for a better look. This was in north Harrison Co. about 30 miles NW of Louisville.

I'm waiting for armadillos. I saw on on the edge of I65 on ramp heading north from Elizabethtown, Kentucky several years ago. I had to pull over to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

I saw a dead armadillo on I-65 just south of the Columbus exit. It was many years ago, but it definitely was an armadillo.
