Two inches last night and more coming. Almost 14" since first week of June. Will be on shop vac detail for the foreseeable future. Man, this is getting old. This is as bad as late last summer.

The word that comes to mind is brutal. Just got 4 acres of yard cut. Wanted to go to my back field to bush hog it. Gave up on round bales. Way too wet. And the forecast is for 1.62" of rain tomorrow. I am truly blessed that my beans are much better than I expected two weeks ago, but my alfalfa mix field is worthless. I'll over seed in the fall. It just keeps coming.....Daggone, will it ever stop?

The rain is bad enough, but the forecast for 70-80 mph winds with Monday's storms has me a bit more concerned....

Alfalfa and clover by the pond are drowned out. Pond is still over its banks filling 3 of the 5 acres. Mowing the yard has been an adventure too! Got the mower stuck twice this year already. Mowed Saturday and it thought for sure I'd be hooking the tow strap to the mower one more time!

I keep my duck boat close just in case I need to crawl out a window.
