I actually haven't found any pain relieving medication to do much including aleve or advil or Tylenol or aspirin Oh little buddy, this is bad. You are a young man, and it usually doesn't get better unless the root cause is fixed. I'm so sorry. If I have any money, I'd sure help you out. All I can do is pray for you. My sister is disabled from chronic migraines. It's a daily struggle. She actually tried to get off SS at one time and they told her NO. Three or four days a weeks, she is balled up in a dark corner. The other days hurt, but ... She got addicted to the meds and her body was triggering the migraines for the meds. I don't know how she is still alive.

nfalls116, regardless of what others here suggest, you really need to make an appointment with your regular family Doctor. Chronic pain may indicate a more serious medical situation. The fact you are posting this on a forum sounds like it's really an issue with you. Do you know the song the winner by Bobby bare? That's the kind of stuff my aches and pains come from I go to the doctors and they prescribe me a hand full of pills take This one every 4 hours take this one every 6 hours take this one when you wake up and before you go to bed all with side effects that I feel are much more of an issue than my aches and pains I am really just looking for a more internal organ friendly approach Here's is a website that should give you some insight on your chronic pain issue: www.webmd.com/pain-management/guide/understanding-pain-management-chronic-painIf your Doctor or Doctors you're visiting, are prescribing you narcotic pain medications, then they are NOT going the right direction to find out WHY you are having this pain. You might want to consult a Neurologist rather than the Doctors you are now seeing. Taking pain killers is not a good idea if your Doctor is not sure the cause of the pain your having. These pain killers are highly addictive and dangerous with the possibility of damaging other organs. (BTW I am not familiar with Bobby Bare or his song "Winner") Hope you find a solution to your pain issue.

I have a lot of lower back pain. I bought a cheap electric stimulater unit off of ebay for around $25. It works just about as well as the one they put on me in physical therapy. It seems to have really helped to relieve my pain. If I have had a hard day of heavy lifting and my back is hurting I'll use it for an hour or two in the evening and the next day the pain is usually gone.
