My wife and I live in a little town with the population of maybe 550. Our water tower has been there for 66 yrs. [two yrs. older than me]. Time for a change, so today was the day to dismantle the old tower. I didn't know it was today, until I looked out the bedroom window. Just guessing, but I'd say the tower was +/- 150 ft. tall. Here is a few pics
I had to go to another town a few miles away. I was gone maybe 1/2 hr. after taking that last pic. When I came back, it was completely down. It took them maybe 3 1/2 hrs. Sad part is, it may take them 4 mos. to get the new tower up and running.
