Had another one of those thunder cells go through the north end of the county yesterday afternoon. I could take a bunch of pics all over, but here's a bean field 2miles NE of my home. maddog [br Don't u mean here was a bean field?]

The sun actually came out yesterday afternoon so I got the lawnmower out; what a soggy mess.

Got another .5" of rain last night. Wasn't in the forecast. My fields are big, shallow ponds.

We received some much needed rainfall this past weekend. Still raining this early Monday morning too.

We got another 1.3" Sat PM/Sun AM....that's been about average every other day for the last two weeks. Doesn't take much precip now for field ponds to get even bigger since the soil is at/has been at saturation point for at least a week. We usually try to get in a float fishing trip this next weekend when son Danf and his family are here to leave the grankids for their summer visit (YEAH!!!) but it sure doesn't look like it's going to happen this year-all the local rivers are still out of the banks
