No it isn't.
If i am going 70 in the left lane in a 70 mph zone and you are coming up behind me doing 80, who is breaking the law?

Why did it even make it to a vote? This is a stupid law with very limited ability to be enforced. The republicans voting on this should be ashamed...smaller govt my butt.
The first person to get a ticket for going the speed limit should fight this like crazy!

How fast are you legally allowed to travel in the left lane on ANY INTERSTATE IN INDIANA?
I'm not a lawyer but this seems awfully easy.

Perhaps there is some atmospheric science at play here that I am just incapable of understanding...do tire pressures figure into the equation?

Seems according to this law no matter how fast another driver is driving if you are going slower you are obligated to get outta the way. That seems like common courtesy to me....

I guess we need a "turn in speeders" number to call like we have a poachers hotline.

Speeding is the quickest subject I know to smoke out hypocrites.
...if we all do it, it can't be wrong...

For the record, lest I come off sounding holier than thou, I speed every single day. I'm just not a hypocrite about it. I too get frustrated by "idiots" doing 70mph in the left lane. I just understand that, as long as they are doing the legal speed limit, there isn't anything I can do about it. Fact is, like it or not, 70 mph is all ANY OF US are legally allowed to go in this particular state. This stupid legislation appears to be a powder keg ready to explode in the hands of its creators...unless they plan to have separate speed limits for separate lanes. That might make some sense.

Because bumping slow drivers out of the way is dangerous....? Apparently driving below the speed limit was already against the law same as speeding so now so is going the speed limit...freaking incredible. Makes the hpr rounds in a pistol but not a rifle sound reasonable.

Until now it was perfectly legal to drive 45 in the left lane of I70...maybe its not about those driving the actual limit but those driving under.
We all know lawmakers suck at drafting legislation.....maybe a second law to make the first law doubly illegal??

I did have one of my Christian friends tell a group of us men that he wasn't going to speed anymore, because it was a sin. No one in the room said a word. I never asked him how he was doing with it.
I have one ticket on my record for running a stop sign. I didn't see it, but the fact was that I ran it.
I feel I should get out of the way of a faster vehicle, because it's none of my business if all he wants to do is go faster than me. Now, if he's swerving from lane to lane, I'll probably call 911.
I really have enough to worry about minding my own business.

I think that there are lots of things we need to get out of the way of because they are none of our business.
