These three two year old birds came in silent at 8:30 am after gobbling all morning. I had called one in on opening morning running and gunning to 30 yards and had brush in the way before 4 jakes ran him off. Went back this morning with the blind and avians. I took the lead bird, they all looked pretty much the same at the time. He did weigh 23lb. Crappy cel phone video after the shot but it is kind of cool. Awesome morning in Brown County, second year I hunted this spot and it payed off nicely.
yes I killed him out of a double bull blind I have had for a few years, I have missed three with my bow using the blind and got this one at 10 yards with my shotgun. Would have been a chip shot with my Matthews, maybe try that next year again if I keep this spot.

I haven't had great luck bow hunting birds either... shaved the belly feathers on one and got the other but had to finish it off with my gun.
