Finally made it out this morning. Found a single turkey track and it was about 1 1/2" deep and the size of a dinner plate! Obviously I'm exaggerating a tad bit but, it may as well have been. I was pretty happy to see some sign. Also found a feather. Not as much evidence that they're back from their winter grounds as I'd hope to find but at least it's something. Camera is up and running and will hope see some longbeards on the SD card in a couple weeks.

The field was on the west side of 65 about 2 - 3 miles south of Exit 215. Still in Jasper County. They are out there.

That property usually holds good turkey and deer numbers. Lots of land, few hunters

They were backed up to the woods but on a corn field feeding. No more than 10 yards out of the woods. Couldn't tell the gender for sure but looked like hens as I drove by at 70 mph.
