How often do you guys and gals buy new mouth calls? I buy new mouth calls each year for two reasons. 1 reason is I like trying new mouth calls each year. I've tried multiple different calls and this year I'm going with M.A.D. calls. The second and biggest reason is cleanliness. I am not sure how clean they stay from year to year. I have read different methods of keeping them clean and bacteria free during the off season but haven't used any of them. What say you? Do you use the same call each season or buy new calls each year?

Had some for several years. Wash them well with a commercial mouth wash. Store in fridge till next year.

I usually have 15 or so new mouth calls by the time season comes in, so I pretty much pitch them at the end of the season. The ones I do keep are washed and put in the refrigerator with the reeds separated.

The freezer or fridge are pretty popular. I usually only carry 2-3 mouth calls each year. I figure they are cheap enough to buy new each year. The M.A.D. calls I found this year are a three pack on Amazon for $11.00 free shipping. I don't really rely on them solely but, they are good to have in your cheek when you're slipping in and out if the woods and when birds are close. My go to call is my pot call from Andy Kaiser. I use it more than anything.
