Every day during the week when I am not hunting, I put my son on the bus and then drive a few backroads. Him and I do the same thing most evenings from the middle of August - winter and into spring when we start looking for turkeys. When you add the number of times we've been spotlighting, we have went by this field well over 100 times since summer. This is the first time I've seen this deer. Pretty cool that she has survived at least 2 years of firearms season and will probably make it through muzzleloader season this year too.

Cool!! Hope she can make it through "poaching season" too.. No doubt. I did watch her until she went back the way she came. I know she's safe there.

Just in time for some holiday threats if someone shoots her.
Cool that you saw her.

Pretty cool to see them.
Maybe it's less miles on backroads, but I haven't seen one since 2008.
Seems like there was always at least 1 or 2 a year I would come across out shining or just driving around but I put a lot more miles on my truck back then.

That's something you don't see everyday.
