My Dad used it last year. I didn't really notice a difference in his season compared to other years. Can't say if it works or not. I know he didn't buy any this year.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Less scent the better. Use natural cover scent's EX. DIRT, CEDAR NEEDLES, WALNUT'S, ACORNS etc. I use cedar needles a lot. Just pull them off and rub cloths down with them. Of course use in a area that has cedar tree's around. Cost $0 The walnuts and acorns just crush them up and store cloths in tote with the crushed nut's. WORKS WELL.
I tried this for the first time this year with not so good results. I am very conscience on my scent and go through the normal ritual of staying scent free. I used ever calm both on an morning sit and evening sit of the same day. I got blew at both times. I'm not saying I haven't got winded other times this year that I might have been unaware of but on this day using the ever calm it definitely had them on high alert. It seems like a great idea and it smells just like a deer to me but maybe its to strong. It also got me to thinking if it is made from a herd of deer elsewhere it would be like a group of strangers sitting in my house all day when I come home. Could be a reverse effect.
Greetings Well I stalk on the ground all the time, my scent control consists of not washing my stalking jacket, ok I smell like a deer, and perhaps that's why I still live myself, lol but that is it. No one I know bothers will scent sprays, and not all deer my any means are shot a long way off. Once had a client came to stalk,he had put his aftershave on and smelled like the inside of a lady of the nights handbag, took him out and he shot his buck and I pointed out the error of his ways, next morning he smelled normal lol Regards Billy
Try deer dander. It's 10times better than ever calm. I've had deer get straight down wind sniff the air and just keep about their business. Since I've been using it the last few years I have not got busted hardly at all from deer down wind. A bunch of my buddies are using it now too. I wouldn't recommend putting it on your boots before the walk in though. Everytime I have they usually come straight to the base of the tree so I just put a few squirts around my stand and a couple up in the tree once I'm in the stand. Best cover scent I have ever used and prolly will never switch. I'm in western Illinois right now and right before I typed this had 2 bucks and a doe come in from downwind and just hung out at 30 yards for 10mins or so and didn't seem to mind. They would scent check every now and again but just went about their morning
We've used it the last two seasons, we rub it on the bottom of our boots as we walk in. We've had numerous deer walk the same path in (sometimes on an already established trail, sometimes not). We usually take the lid off and leave it on the ground near the stand and we've have a few deer walk up and smell it. Left one sick out by mistake last year and had a doe on camera eating it lol.
Can't say if it really accomplishes a whole lot but it does offer them something else to smell and it doesn't spook them.

Deer dander is great stuff. I spray in my shooting lanes. Been using for 6 or 7 years. I've had multiple hunts when 3 or 4 does will lick around the brush for 10 or 15 minutes before moving on. Had a nice 8 pt licking around it last year that I couldn't bring myself to draw back on.
The best deer smelling cover or attractant scents I've ever used was Deer scents incense sticks from the 90's. Tinks had a version of them last year but they didn't seem to be as effective. I actually didn't even look for any this year.
My biggest mistake was burning one in my closed garage under my hanging hunting clothes. I couldn't stand myself for a few weeks, but killed 3 deer in 4 days, all from the ground, and inside of 10 yards. One was about 2 feet off the muzzle. The garage stayed open for about a month.
Is it immoral to indulge the insistence of an unarmed man to a dual of whits?
I inappropriately apportioned my physical response to an emotional reaction.
Greetings You need to be covering yourself in this ever calm chubwub, just in case the FATHER IN LAW COMES OUT. Lol Hehehehe Sorry chubwub, had to do it, lol. Regards Billy
