Crap, land owner just died today and the attorney in charge of the estate says we can't hunt because of liability reasons. So glad I took time off last week and got my 2 bucks. I was basically going to be guiding my son. I was looking forward to it as he hasn't been out for deer in a couple of years and he said he was going to go.

Sorry to hear that. I'm always thankful for the deer that I do get before losing a property. I got permission to hunt a new place in 2009. On my first sit there, I took a 150 0/8" within a half hour. Went back in 2010 and killed a 168 6/8" within 2 1/2 hours of my second sit there ever.
Then the neighboring property sold and they created a private offroading "park", and cut a Jeep trail within 20 yards of my tree. That ruined the spot from then on...

A friend who can't hunt tomorrow is letting me hunt his place this weekend. Box blind with a heater! Just went and met him during lunch and got the directions to it as I have never been there. Going to sneak out of work early and go check it out. Good thing my boss is a hunter and understands.

Guess the attorney has never heard of this Indiana Code: According to IC 34-31-9, natural resource-based activities, including hunting and fishing, are considered agritourism activities, and an agritourism provider is a person who provides the opportunity for argitourism activities whether or not the participant pays to participate in the activity. Under Indiana law, an agritourism provider is not liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant in agritourism activities at this location if the death or injury results from the inherent risks of agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals as well as the potential for the participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to their injury or death, or for other participants to act in a manner that may cause the participant injury or cause death. The participant is assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.
That is straight from the Hunting Permission sheet that was (or still is) in the Hunting Regs book.

I mentioned that but you know how trying to argue with an attorney is. Oh well, I didn't even think I would be able to hunt the property at all this deer season but he lasted longer than I thought. Got 2 bucks and a turkey off the place this year. It was a property that will be hard to replace. Thankful for the hunts I had there. Also, got the buck in my avater there a couple of years ago.
