Since I've killed my buck will I be able to harvest a buck when I go to crane? Just curious. Won't bother me if I can't. Thanks for the information.

They must have changed Deer hunting regulations at Crane, since I last hunted there back in 1977. We had only our state issued Deer license at that time.

If you draw a State Park hunt, that also gives you an extra buck. So, according to my math, you could actually shoot a total of 4 antlered deer in Indiana(State Park, Military Refuge, Urban, and Regular).

You can also add a second state park hunt, and a second buck in military with an antlerless kill too (Big Oaks anyway)! Jay

Wonder if anybody has ever actually pulled that off.

You could kill a buck in two different state parks, your regular buck and a buck at three of the military sites plus four at big oaks. This would give you a total of 10.

He took a doe on a previous hunt a few days before our shared hunt, then took two nice bucks within an hour of each other when we hunted together. I got skunked. Lol!

Probably three years ago or so, my brother-in-law took two bucks at Crane -- one bow, the other firearm.

I'm excited to go. More excited to get my dad in there again. He used to go years ago but quit putting in. Talked him into putting in this year and he got skunked. I got drawn for shotgun November 23rd.

Since I now work at Crane, I could technically kill 3 bucks this year.
One with mil refuge tag hunting archery. One with mil refuge tag during the State gun hunt. One off base with my regular State tag.
But I'll be happy if I just get one from any of these opportunities.
