Finally after 5 years of not having a place to hunt limb chickens,or I should say remembering I had a place , I finally get to go after the little critters in the morning.......I can't wait .

Great for you guys. Very slow so far in the NW corner where I am. Three trips and seen one fox squirrel. Slow!

Well that's too bad, hopefully it'll change soon. From what I saw the acorns are only half the size they should be,I didn't even see any signs of cutting anywhere. It sounds like they were all in 1 area. I'll have to go check it out the next time I go .

Glad you found some. I have been out with my 4yo boy a few times now and have only seen three total. We do not have much of a population in our immediate area. Last Sunday we went to Kingsbury Fish and Wildlife Area and all we got was a blood transfusion! Sprayed down twice and had the thermacell going and we still got tore up. All for nothing too. We sat by 2 areas of shagbark hickories and 2 with white oaks, and we batted a great big zero! Not good at all.

The only thing that's been worked on in that woods, and where all I saw was,was in hickories. Yeah, normally in that woods you don't even need repellent and this year even after sprayed down good with deep woods off, they won't leave you alone, can't hardly hear from all the buzzing around your ears.
