What is on your to do list for this season Right now I have a deer shed/blind to paint, set a stand, and start marking yardage flags for crossbow distances. Oh yeah Im also making a deer cart that will go between corn rows if I have a deer pile up in a field. And keep practicing with the bow and put a couple rounds through the 500.

Just clear my shooting lanes a little closer to the start of the season.

The hard work is done....We moved some stands and picked out a couple of new spots for ground blinds back before it greened up. We cut new shooting lanes in those spots @ that time and we sprayed our entry/exit paths and ground blind spots with Roundup last weekend. The plots are in and if we continue to get rain, they should be fine.
All that's left on the "to do" list, is put in a few ground blinds (likely in September) and double check our stands to be sure they are still in tight and safe to use.

I need to shore up one of my favorite hang on stands by replacing the cables. Other than that, my goal is to stay out of the woods as much as possible.

Put up ladder stands, build a ground blind, practice shooting, make a set of hunting arrows.

Greetings You are all getting ready for the season over there over the pond here I am ready for a break, it's been a hard season, the rut should be starting about now, and it is the last chance to put another few in the bag. I am down on the target, there has been far too much timber hauling and car rally disturbance to of had any chance of achieving what they wanted, but never mind I tried. Oh and a stupid boss who gave me a telescopic sight that came off someone else's rifle because it would not hold zero, why I was given it you guess because I don't know, I was not best pleased after I found out and missed a buck I was after,I now have a New swarvoski on the rifle after I went and made a fuss.(that's me being polite). Strange world you are all full of anticipation where as I am just ready for a break, some leave and motorcycle riding. Regards to all Billy

Get a new pair of boots, get the fall food plot up, and hang some stands. I should be able to do this in one day, then stay out until the season starts.
