I can't believe 5 years have passed since Art Spancake's soul departed the goose field he was hunting near Anderson and drifted to the heavens like the smoke from his .410 shotgun after a round of skeet. He's missed by his family, friends, and anyone who ever crossed paths with him. Art was as skilled of a goose hunter that ever walked a frozen field, and he enjoyed passing his knowledge forward to the next generation any chance he got. I'd love to hear him sing out a tune from his Foiles Strait Meat Honker and have a flock turn in our direction one last time............

RIP.
I remember the screen name though I've never met him. Ironically I've been shooting a 410 quite a bit myself the last year or so.

Just an old stinky goose hunter that had the knack to make friends easily, loved to shoot his 410 and killen geese... heck of a friend.
