A lot of Bass are being caught on Jerkbaits right now. Crappie are starting to move up into shallow water as the water temperatures are warming up.
Next week should offer some good fishing since the high temperatures are going to be warmer.

The offshore Ledge fishing is excellent right now on Kentucky Lake and Barkley Lake, and most other TN River Lakes.

I will be heading back up to the UP in October for steelhead and salmon. It's always a great trip.

If your fishing Kentucky Lake, focus on fishing main lake Ledges. Find Ledges and humps offshore on your sonar and fish them with Worms, Lizards, Spoons, Crankbaits, and jigs.
Typically the Bass will be feeding early in the morning on the main lake Flats and shallow water above or near the Ledges, then usually from about 9am until 5 pm, the Bass will be in the deeper water at or near the Ledge or hump drop off. After 5pm the Bass will come back up on top of the Ledge to feed and on top of the Ledges onto shallow flats out on the main lake. Fishing is really good right now after 5 pm on KY Lake.
