LOL... Not to make light but that reminds me of The Christmas Story where the neighbor dogs make off with their turkey. Sounds like it is Peking Duck time at the local Chinese restaurant.

I say we drink the wine, eat the dogs, and use the paper for musket wading.
Aye - dog is a fine meal.

I knew it was a lab, just knew it! The one we had was responsible for 2 T-Bones - including the foam tray and a birthday cake!

Lord make me fast and accurate. Aim small, miss small. While we are playing: I'm a parent. I haven't got the luxury of principles. You have done nothing for which you should be ashamed. I have done nothing. And for that I am ashamed. A shepherd must tend his flock. And at times, fight off the wolves.

I have long feared my sins would return to visit me...and the cost is more than I can bear. Tell me, why should I trade one tyrant 3,000 miles away for 3,000 tyrants one mile away? You're the sort that gives that sort a bad name! Kill me before the war is over will you? Well, it appears you are not the better man... You're right, my sons were better men...(bayonet to the throat) Everything will change...everything HAS changed. I have seen that movie 4 or 5 times a year since it came out (I show it in class).

That's awesome Metamora. My daughter (5th grade) just had to write an essay about children during the Revolutionary War. I convinced her to write a first person account as the daughter of Sergeant William Henry Pace, who was a Life Guard to General George Washington, and we are his direct descendents. After this thread I suggested to my wife that we should bust out the old VHS tape of "The Patriot" and let her watch it. My wife t thinks we need to screen it again before we let her watch it While helping her, we discovered William Pace was (and therefore we are, too) a direct descendant of Richard Pace, an early settler in Jamestown and a somewhat historical figure. From what I've read, it appears Richard came to Jamestown around 1616 - four years before the Mayflower landed in Plymouth. He is a historical figure because ... well here is a brief synopsis.
