Good morning fellas! I sure hope one of you is field dressing a big one just as they are cutting me open tomorrow.
I'm sure it's a simple procedure for the doctors, but I dread it. They even have me talking with a psychologist about it. I don't care what they tell me, I'm not going to be happy about it. I should be home sometime on Thursday and will check in to see the harvest count.
At ~1am this morning, my dog woke me up barking. Opening my bedroom door, the sound of banging was loud with lights shining in my windows. My mind raced ... Is there a fire?
Has a mass murderer escaped and they're searching door to door?
Have they come to take away my guns???
Do I get my gun or escape ladder?
Two Johnson County Deputies were waiting to greet me.
JS: What's the problem?
JCD: We need you to move your vehicle. It's in violation of a Johnson County parking ordinance.
JS: What time is it?
JCD: 0048
JS: Did someone pay you to play a trick on me?
Do you know who I am? LOL Not.
I'm not sure, but I think I said a bad word.
I live on the back of a dead-end court, and my daughter's car was parked on the street in front of my house. Apparently, my new neighbors didn't like it. We do not have a home owner's assoc.. The school bus does not come down my street. Street cleaners do not come down my street. Snow removal??? ...NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNo! She was not parked in front of a mailbox or fire hydrant.
The Deputies thought is was very stupid and a waste of their time, but they had a job to do. This rule was not intended for streets like mine!
I was awake all night. The old ticker was going nuts.

Good luck with the procedure, buddy.
I'm guessing that is similar to the parking restrictions in my Pop's neighborhood in Whiteland. I believe the signs say you can't park on the street between 2 AM and 5 AM.

Get their phone number and sign up for every come-on and "contest" you come across. Add e-mail address to. I am sure they need siding, windows, doors and a new roof, car insurance... My Mom had a pacemaker put in. No big deal. Good Luck

It must be for street cleaners and snow removal, because some school buses are still out after 7am. The longer I live in the city, the more I want to live in the middle of 100 acres of woods and surface once a month to fetch supplies.

Best of luck to you Jon. You're in the Lord's hands .. Yes sir Woody! I have no fear of not waking up; it's the waking up with jumper cables stuck in my heart that I dread.

My Mom had a pacemaker put in. No big deal. Good Luck LOL. I'll kill them with kindness. I actually think the pacemaker will be good for me even though I don't want it. It's the jumper cables and battery that has me in a deep dread. ...just saw some ducks fly by the house ...gotta go!

Good luck to you, and we will be waiting on the post-op report. Make sure the Mrs. documents your babbling. While my Dad was drugged up in the hospital after back surgery, was hunting deer and bear (he doesn't deer hunt), his bed was his boat and he was fishing, there were ghosts on the walls (curtains), and a fetus was in the ceiling (light). Oh ,and he also re-floored his room, too.

Like Woody said, "You're in the Lord's hands!" I'll be praying a good recovery and peace for you my brother! Besides, we got some upland birds to get after once you're healthy enough!

My doctor called tonight. She still hasn't gotten the insurance approval for my procedure. They'll call me in the morning to confirm one way or the other.
