Mine has always been an old camper of some sort. first 8 foot slide in then 10 footer after that a beat up 31 foot 5 th wheel. now i am back to the 8 foot slide. I was allowed to park it in landlords barn yard for all deer seasons with water and eletric. i no longer hunt that ptoperty so now i carry my water and use candels

Mine is a 6,000 square foot cabin on 1,500 acres of my own private land...JK I don't have any sort of deer camp YET. I would love to hear more about what others have though.

Camp is wherever I make it. If I hunt local to the house just go home every night.
I have on occasion gone into the woods for 3-5 days with just a .22 pistol, a muzzleloader and a backpack. I try to find a nice place out of sight preferably deep in a gully or a ravine or under heavy overhead cover. I use a hammock for sleeping, have a tarp to string between the same trees as overhead cover, have a fire next to the hammock for heat. Inside my pack is water and some snacks along with rain gear, clothing and plenty of gear to last me a week or more if I want. I have a military 4 piece cold weather sleeping bag system to keep me warm ( I usually sweat in that thing) My backpack is a military MARPAT large pack with MOLLE straps everywhere. If I am planning on being gone longer than 3 days....it looks somewhat akin to a gypsy wagon by the time I am done packing.
You would be amazed how long you can live out of a pack on your back if you can get meat regularly and have fresh water.
I use my Contender .22 pistol for squirrels to have meat if I don't get a deer right away. Make squirrel gravy and biscuits at least once. Fire-Roasted squirrel at least once. With some canned veggies it ain't too bad wrapped in aluminum foil and dropped in the coals as well (of course, there has to be BBQ sauce involved here - personal preference) If I get a deer there is always fresh steak and eggs for breakfast the following day...if not that morning.
And yes...I find it practically IMPOSSIBLE to find a "hunting buddy" on any of my trips...apparently, most guys prefer hotels and campers. Not sure why...they are missing sooooo much.

I have had a camper on my leased property for many years. We have a fire pit there too. The land owner lets me hook up to the electric at the barn. We use the camper year round, not just deer camp. It has a propane furnace. I sleep very well in it, actually.
My own property is now hooked up with electricity (hot as of Monday). That means that in coming deer seasons, I hope to have a little deer camp of my own. We plan to build a small cabin. We may go with one of those big sheds you can buy at Lowes and convert it into a small cabin. I am really looking forward to playing with that!

This sounds awesome..my deer camp is a little less adventurous tho! My deer camp is my house. Most of my stands are within a mile of the house but somedays I take a big trip and head WAY on over to some of my other ground I lease or have permission to hunt 3 miles away.

Last two years was a surplus Army tent. This year, I'll be living the high life in the 14'x20' cabin I built on my land. It's got a wood stove, solar power, and if not too cold, I can activate the outdoor shower. I'm hoping to try for a 4 day hunt this year, which is twice as long as I've ever hunted.

For me it's The camp ground at Indian/Celina lake. Been going since i was 12. Grandpa started the tradition in the late 60's. with exception of a 4 year stint at another camp I've been there every opening weekend for the last 22 years.

My camp consists of a nice tent set up on my acreage. Very private and no one will know I'm there unless they fly over. We have a fire ring for the campfire that burns the whole time, an 8 ft picnic table, and an outhouse. No electricity or running water. Unfortunately my boys are living far away so that means being out there by myself. Not as much fun as it could be.

Living the high life in a Palm Beach GMC motorhome (look it up its awesome ugly green!) for a few days with my father-in-law parked next to a couple of great guys that let us crash their deer camp every once in awhile close to the Ohio river. A great setup just outside the woods with a campfire ring and great view of the Ohio River.

We used to stay in my grandparents house on our family farm when I was younger. Now that they have passed and we sold the farm to a cousin he lets us park 2 campers down there and we have a fire pit between them that we do all of our cooking on. We have 8 people in out camp for the IL gun season.

I like my camping but my dream is to someday do a float trip in my canoe for 5 days deer hunting. That would REALLY be awesome. My HUGE dream would be to do that on the Powder River in Wyoming.

I don't have a "deer camp", but remember being little and going to the camp my dad went to in the Gentryville bottoms. The had an old bullet looking camper that had a kitchen and a bunch of beds. Saw my first turkeys there and shot my first deer slug out of a 12 gauge there. Nearly lost my shoulder and missed the sheet of plywood.
