Today I heard something cry like a baby and something grunt like a hog. It's so much fun! Are you sure that wasn't you dreaming?

I was in my blind 1.5 hours before sunrise, and man it was dark! After about an hour, I heard a call that sounded more like an elk. Do deer make that kind of sound too? I heard raccoon fighting and squirrel barking, but didn't see a single deer. speaking of weird sounds in the woods, my property is less than a mile from the exotic feline rescue center and sitting in your stand in Indiana it just seems weird to hear African lions roaring, leopards screeching, and the mountain lions screaming; then the neighboring property owner has a bunch of donkey's honking and making noise. Some days its calm and quiet and other days it sounds like a bad Jim Carrey movie.....

That's about as likely as me ever lion hunting in Africa..

I haven't read all the side-effects yet. Speaking of dreaming, I had a hunting related dream last night. I went to a fella's house and this guy had stuffed every animal that he had ever killed. The house was full of them; it was like a petting zoo for manikins. Now I'm trying to remember who's house it was, because it had to be someone on here.
