Getting more dead reports everyday. I did walk my property and only found 2. Seem's to be spotty and widespred. We got 2.5 inches rain Fri so maybe that will help the situation.

I haven't found any dead on our place yet. I have a stand near a pond so I'll be able to keep an eye out once season opens. I'm only a few miles from you Boonechaser.
Does it seem to hit areas with crop fields worse? Maybe the deer congregate in higher numbers than in mostly wooded areas. We haven't found any dead from EHD.

Have a client that live's off Pleasant Grove road in Pleasant and he has found 3 dead deer so far on his farm and another that found a dead doe in his pond in Cross plains Saturday. Most report's I am getting are a few here and there with the expection of Bear Branch where one guy has found 15 plus on his farm.

We have found a couple does dead on our place in Ohio Co. I figure there have to be a few bucks out there as well. A few weeks ago you couldn't drive down our road with out catching the smell of something.

I went on my porch last night to enjoy the evening and the wind shifted, all you can smell is rotting deer coming from the creek. Ohio Co.

Hate to hear that muzzleloader. From what I gather the EHD seem's to be widespread (a few here and there) with a few area's being hit heavy. Is unfortunate but part of the time's. I still think this will be a great season as I am seeing lot's of deer and lot's of buck's.
