Looks like the same deer to me. Left beam is pretty much identical .....

If it is I would think he has pretty much reached his potential then.. Really not much noticeable difference at all between last year and this year.

Look's like same to me also and appear's to be slightly larger in tine length 2013. Look's like a low 140's deer to me. Which for a 8 pt is a pretty good deer. Would be on my hit list.

I'd bet money that they are the same deer. As mentioned above, the left main beams look almost identical in both the 2012 and 2013 pics. Look at the angles of the G2' and G3's, as well as the shape of the main beam itself. Then, looking at the frontal angles, note how the mainbeams climb out and upward, then the tines angle in sharply.

Look's like a low 140's deer to me. Which for a 8 pt is a pretty good deer. Would be on my hit list. "Pretty good deer"? You sir, have high standards indeed! I'd say an 8 pointer in the 140s is a great deer, but what do I know?

Thanks for all the responses.. I hope to cross paths with him in a couple weeks. He is still coming out in the fields before dark, so hopefully he doesn't go nocturnal before season rolls around.
