This picture has been going around on Facebook that is supposedly a mountain lion caught on a trail camera somewhere in Owen County. Anyone heard anything about this?

Hadn't heard of any around there since the one sighted on Crane about 3 years ago; one could easily get from there to Owen County in a day or 2. Looks like a big male...

The picture quality is quite poor.
The one in Greene County was closer to Tulip, which is a good ways from Crane, but well within range of Owen County.

There were several unconfirmed sightings on Crane shortly after the DNR confirmed the trail cam pics where you are talking about; the government even sent out a "warning" e-mail to employees in case they were to encounter a mountain lion. I work with a guy who claimed to have seen one out of his treestand near Lake Greenwood during this time. You know how that goes though...

I have no doubt they are roaming around Crane and I remember the sighting you are talking about. It was near the Burns City gate.
