I guess that must have been Spencer they were driving the bear around in the clip then.. Will be kinda neat just to see familiar places on tv, I think...

Nope, that was Bloomington. The restaurant is Michael's Uptown Cafe.
I am excited to watch the show. I think it will be funny and it will generate interest in the area.

Watched it last night, it was OK.. You could tell a lot of it was either reenacted or scripted, but then again pretty much all reality shows on tv are that way.

I enjoyed it. I take it for what it is and don't get too caught up in the scripted/isn't scripted side of things.

So Russ is the guy as messed up in real life before the discovery channel or is it pretty realistic? I watched as much as I could stomach and had to turn it off. Been around a lot of places in Indiana and seen my share of dandies but none matched the guys they showed on the parts I watched. IMO The guys on the lower wabash river that live on the river would make these guys look like upper crust!

Some folks from the cast of Porter Ridge were making an appearance at a place in town this evening. I met Elvis Larry, he was a cool dude...

duff, I haven't been in there in a few years, just driven past (since I bought my Jeep, my need for frequent replacement parts has dropped off). But a couple guys I shoot with know a couple of the leads and they say they are pretty much in character all the time 8^).

I saw the previews and thought it was one of those shows that make city folk think everyone outside town limits is retarded. I'll have to watch and see.
