Someone had stated one could use a 44 mag single shot Handi Rifle during Indiana's MZ season. I proceeded to correct this person in their understanding (based on my understanding of what a MZ is and is not, which a 44 mag Handi Rifle is not). But to be sure, I revisited the regs and didn't see anything in there that even hints at being able to use anything other than a weapon that's loaded from the top of the barrel and ignited either by either cap or flint.
I know you can definitely use it during firearm season, but did i miss something that authorizes the single shot 44 mag to be used during MZ season too? Thanks

No, the cartridge rifle would NOT be a legal method during muzzle-loader season.

Or archery either.

Yes! Finally, I'm right about something. Thanks for the assurance.

Some people have been converting the 44 Handi into a ML.

Some people have been converting the 44 Handi into a ML. I can definitely see how a new hunter / shooter could be confused by this...

Also, a lot of folks use .44 cal. bullets in their MLs which may add to the confusion for those just learning. That's what I use in my Knight, with a sabot.
And, a bunch of misinformation is dispensed at the sales counters of Dick's and Walmart. I actually heard a sales person at Dick's telling a customer that he had a 30-06 ML on the shelf. It turned out to be a CVA single shot in 30-06.

If you mean you can't bow hunt on a ML license you are correct. Archery is in during the ML season and with the proper license you can use a bow.

Just to double check info I received from two Dnr staff. Can use my bundle to cover me to bow hunt throughout the length of the archery season and can I use either my bow or a muzzleloader during both the firearms and muzzleloader seasons? My plan is to use a combo of bow only during archery and to use both my bow or a muzzleloader depending on my mood during the firearms and muzzleloader season. I ran my idea by two different Dnr staff but like to double check prior to opening day.
